Research Overview


Professor Volpe's research addresses how early experience impacts on later life.

Presently he is employing social network analysis and case study methods in studying

inflicted infant head trauma prevention, falls prevention across the life span, knowledge

mobilization, theory-practice connections, and integrated services.

Other Information


Dr. Volpe is interested in evaluating the application of prevention and implementation science

in evidenced informed policy and practice. Currently he is working with Ontario's North East

Local Integration Health Networks to improve the quality and integration of their

health services.
