Research Overview

Dr. Katz's research interests include program reform in teacher education; building capacity through collaborative learning networks; the relationship between the psychological foundations of learning & development and classroom assessment; building capacity in evidence-informed decision-making for school improvement; teacher belief about mind and learning.

Research Projects/Activities:

Building capacity in Psychological Foundations of Learning & Development at OISE/UT;
Evaluation of the National College of School Leadership's Networked Learning Communities initiative in England;
Researching & supporting learning networks (York Region District School Board);
Building capacity in data-driven school improvement (Greater Toronto Professional Network Centre - 14 Ontario school districts).
