Research Interests

I am interested in the instruction of children with intractable epilepsy; and language comprehension, production and working memory problems associated with nonverbal learning disability and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. I also do research on reading disability and other aspects of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.

Applied/Clinical Interests

In the Department of Psychology at the Hospital for Sick Children I am a psychologist and Acting Director. As a psychologist I assess and treat the learning, behaviour and family adjustment problems associated with medical disorders. A particular focus of the team is children with intractable epilepsy and the operation of a classroom for these children in the hospital.
