Research Interests

My research has focused on the emotional and behavioral consequences of having a learning disability, which is not identified as well as the impact of life events on child and adolescent development. In addition we have examined the special education skills and knowledge required by new teachers to be successful in inclusive general education classrooms.

Applied/Clinical Interests

I am also involved in teacher education and am interested in how knowledge of neuroscience impacts teaching practice.
