Pre-Admission Testing
As one of the course requirements, candidates applying to or registered in a language or mathematics AQ course may require a pre-admissions test before permitted in the AQ course.
About Pre-Admission Tests
- Candidates MUST have registered for the appropriate course through the Continuing Education Office PRIOR to writing the pre-admission test. Candidates who are not registered for the appropriate AQ course will not be permitted to complete the test.
- Candidates completing a pre-admission test MUST complete the scheduled test that corresponds to the session of their AQ course.
E.g. Fall/Winter AQ French and International Language course candidates must take the Fall/Winter test
- Test results will be forwarded to the Continuing Education Office by the Principal of the course.
French and International Languages Test
Courses which require a pre-admission test:
- All French courses
- All International Languages Honour Specialist courses (French, German, Spanish, Italian)
Successful completion of this test is valid for 3 years.
Mathematics Pre-Admission Test
Courses which require a pre-admission test:
- Mathematics Intermediate Basic courses
Successful completion of this test is valid for 1 year.
