Online Learning

Online learning with OISE | Continuing & Professional Learning is based on a foundation of professional dialogue, community building, adult learning principles and flexibility. You will find familiar components of in-class courses, e.g. readings, group work and research, set into an easy to access (and navigate!) online context. As with all other Additional Qualification courses, there is a time commitment of 125 hours for full courses. This translates into approximately 6-7 hours of daily computer time for summer session courses. For all other sessions online time varies from 10-12 hours a week depending on the session. Specific hours are listed in Course Specific Information.

For many, online learning is a new experience. With this in mind, we have developed online courses that are accessible by candidates with basic computer literacy skills and regular access to a standard internet enabled computer. Please take advantage of the interactive online learning links to assess whether online learning is for you.
