Security

The OISE building is monitored by Security Management Service 24/7 in co-operation with the University of Toronto Police.  The building is open Monday through Sunday between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m.  and is closed only a few days during  the winter holidays.  That is the only time that there  is no security coverage.

Security Management Services objective is to provide high quality security services to the OISE community.  Security is most often the first and the last impression for any person on the property.  Their mission is to be successful in:

• Restriction of unwanted access to common areas and tenant spaces
   
• Deterrence of criminal activity through high visibility and through security planning
   
• Proactive security measures
   
• Customer service and satisfaction
