Mid-degree Transfers into CIDE

OISE students who wish to transfer into the CIDE program must meet the CIDE qualifications, which include having at least one year of work experience in an international setting and conducting research with an international and comparative perspective.

Transfer applications are reviewed twice a year by a CIDE Faculty Committee. It is best to submit a complete application by the beginning of the school year term. Please note that due to increased enrollment in CIDE, there may be restrictions on the number of transfers accepted.

A complete transfer application includes:

1. A statement of intent to the co-Directors of CIDE noting why you wish to enroll in the CIDE program. This will be much like the statement of intent you wrote for admission to OISE. In this statement you will need to indicate the CIDE faculty member who will oversee your program completion.

2. A current C.V. that lists your international work experience.

3. The internal transfer request form.

4. Return the form to the CIDEC office (7107).
