The Centre for Teacher Education & Development
About Our Faculty Members
Scholarship: CTED faculty maintains a high level of scholarship; its members continue to build on an existing, significant body of research and publications that focus on four main themes: teacher education and development; narrative inquiry; holistic education; and more recently, cross-cultural education.
Teaching: The members of CTED teach in both pre-service and graduate programs. Currently, more than 50 courses are listed for our faculty members; many of those reflect the core concerns of CTED. Our faculty and doctoral students continue to collaboratively develop and engage in the “works in progress” course.
Knowledge/Research Dissemination: CTED faculty hosts and participates in numerous events within OISE (“lunch bytes” and conferences) and around the globe (national and international conferences, e.g.). Exchanges of faculty and graduate students from Shinwa University in Japan is underway while similar arrangements for the University of Leiden in the Netherlands are almost complete.
CTED faculty/members are individually featured in the column to the left.
