The Center for Teacher Education and  Development (CTED) aims to provide leadership in researching teacher education and teacher development.

CTED coordinates and engages in research activities on teacher education and teacher development, fosters professional development of teacher educators at OISE and assists in the development of both pre-service and graduate programs. Beyond OISE, the work of the Center includes support in school districts for professional learning for teachers.
