Research Overview Dr. Mary Kooy is a Professor with the Department of Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning at OISE. Her research interests focus on teacher education/development, teacher knowledge, women in teaching, narrative, teacher book clubs, communities of learning/practice, constructivism, and English education. Dr. Kooy's interest in book clubs and women's education prompted her 2006 book "Telling Stories in Book Clubs: Women Teachers and Teacher Development".
