Harvard University, Education, 1967 B.A. University of Missouri, Economics, 1965 Research Overview Dr. John Miller is a Professor with the Department of Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning at OISE. His research interests focus on holistic education, spirituality in education, contemplation in educational settings, and curriculum orientations. Dr. Miller has been working in the field of holistic education for 35 years. He is author of more than a dozen books and his writing has been translated into seven languages. He has worked extensively with holistic educators in Japan and Korea and has been a visiting professor at two universities in Japan. His recent research focus has been on the long term effects of meditation practice for teachers.
