Research Overview

Ron Lancaster is a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning at OISE. His research interests focus on handheld technologies, dynamic geometry software, computer algebra systems, the connections between mathematics and the world around us, the integration of mathematics with the arts, numeracy, and literacy.

He is an active lecturer and writer, involved with conferences around the world related to math education, math games, mathematical inquiry and the link between numeracy and literacy. He has written extensively for the journals The Mathematical Lens and The Mathematics Teacher.

Ron was awarded the 2007 OISE Award for Excellence in Initial Teacher Education
