Each degree program has a specific maximum time to completion indicated in the following chart:

| Flexible-time Ph.D. | 1 year | 8 years |
| Ed.D. | 1 year | 6 years |
| M.A. (full-time) | 1.5 years (for candidates in a 10 or 12 course program) | 3 years |
| M.A. (part-time) | 1.5 years (for candidates in a 10 or 12 course program) | 6 years |
| M.Ed. (full-time) | 1 years | 3 years |
| M.Ed. (part-time) | 1 years | 6 years |
| M.T. | 2 years | 2 years |
