This short documentary follows the legacy of Shannen Koostachin of Attawapiskat First Nation,, who had a dream that all First Nations children would have adequate and safe schools. Since the school in her community had been contaminated for decades, Shannen lead a student movement to Ottawa. Although she died in a car accident in 2010, her determination and bravery lives on as others draw from her inspiration to advocate for the rights of all First Nations children.
