2- Install e-mail client: Install MS Outlook 2007
Faculty & Staff Email Migration
A typical Faculty or Staff user at OISE will have Outlook 2003 installed on their computer, or may not have any version of Outlook at all. This process will upgrade your computer to Outlook 2007.
If you are already using your Outlook 2003 and have it configured for another account, do not install the upgrade, but instead follow the UTORexchange Outlook 2003 Configuration Settings.

I have Outlook 2003 and need to upgrade, or I do not have Outlook:
1: Download the pre-configured Outlook 2007 from the CNS website:
You will need to login with your UTORid username and password. Once you do so, scroll down to the "Outlook 2007" link.
2: Once you download the file to your computer, you will need to un-zip (right-click and select "Extract All...". Choose the default settings by clicking 'next' on each step.)
3: The un-zip process should have created and opened a folder called "Outlook.en-us". Run the installer file by double-clicking on 'setup.exe', and click 'next' through each step.
4: After running Outlook, you will be prompted with the "Connect to" box shown below. Enter your Username as: utorarbor\UTORid (with "UTORid" being your account username) and your UTORid password.
If you normally log into your computer/Windows using your UTORid and password, Outlook should continue loading. If you still use your OISEnet account to log into your computer/Windows, then you may need step 4a below:
4a: If, after 3 tries you get this message box:
Type in your UTORid under "Mailbox" and click "Check Name". After a moment, it should automatically replace what you typed as your UTORid with your First and Last name. Click OK, and outlook should continue loading.
5. Outlook should continue loading, and it will ask this question:
If you are familiar with RSS feeds, click yes. If not, click No (most users).
6. In the next box, Outlook will ask about "Instant Search":
Click the checkbox beside "Do not show again", and click NO.
7. You should now have Outlook 2007 up and running with your UTORid email account.
Yes, I have installed Outlook and have my UTORexchange account configured. Please proceed to step #3: Redirect your OISEnet address.
