1. UTORmail and UTORid Status
Requred for all OISE students to have a valid UTORid and @utoronto.ca email address.
Set up/verify your UTORid status
If you have not set up a UTORid yet, please follow the Education Commons section on obtaining a UTORid username and password.
If you currently have a UTORid, please "verify your UTORid and password".
To view your @utoronto.ca email account, login to the Blackboard Portal: https://portal.utoronto.ca . Click on the "Webmail" link on the left side Hot Spots menu.
Verify your UTORmail status
Next we need to check if you have a "forward" setup on your UTORmail account to your @oise address.
Click here to access your UTORid settings.
Once you login to your UTORid settings account, scroll down to the section labeled "Regular Mailbox, Forwarded Mailbox or Autoreply"
Your settings should be one of these:
1. "Regular Mailbox". If this is the case, then you do not need to make any changes to your UTORid account and you can proceed to step #2 of the OISE student migration (Auto-reply FirstClass).
2. "Forwarded Mailbox" set to something other than our @oise address (your home or personal email address - gmail, hotmail, rogers, etc.), then you do not need to make any changes to your UTORid account and can proceed to step #2 of the OISE student migration (Auto-reply FirstClass).
3. "Forwarded Mailbox" is set to your @oise address. If you currently forward your UTORmail to your OISE account, you must change your UTORid account settings as shown below:
If you need to change your settings, select "Regular Mailbox", don't forget to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "modification" request button.
