Student E-mail Migration
E-mail Migration - required by all students still using FirstClass/OISEnet
Email migration has been an on-going process for the past 2 years.
As of August 1st 2010, some functions of the Email Migration may no longer be available.
Please review the main Migration Headquarters for the most up to date information after the August deadline.
All former students who had an @oise.utoronto.ca e-mail address will have had to transition their e-mail activities off of FirstClass/OISEnet by August 1st 2010.
- Students are no longer provided with OISENet e-mail accounts, but will instead use only UTORmail (@utoronto.ca).
- All student @oise.utoronto.ca e-mail addresses will no longer be valid as of August 1, 2010, even if they are forwarded to another e-mail address.
- All ITE and Graduate courses using online technologies for support should are now using the Blackboard Learning System.
- All students will need to have a UTORid to access their courses in Blackboard at https://portal.utoronto.ca
If you previously had an OISEnet/FirstClass address and are having problems, check if you have a "forward" setup on your UTORmail account to your @oise address.
Verify your UTORmail status
Click here to access your UTORid settings.
Once you login to your UTORid settings account, scroll down to the section labeled "Regular Mailbox, Forwarded Mailbox or Autoreply"
Your settings should be one of these:
If "Forwarded Mailbox" is set to your @oise address, you must change your UTORid account settings as shown below:
If you need to change your settings, select "Regular Mailbox" and don't forget to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "modification" request button.
