Workshops and Drop-in Sessions

Winter 2011

Based on some of the feedback we have received from students who have attended our in-class demos of the Adaptive Technology cart, the Education Commons have set up a number of adaptive technology drop-in sessions in the 3rd floor computer labs. The objective of these sessions is to give students, faculty and staff the opportunity to experience the showcased software (for ex. Kurzeil, Dragon, SmartIdeas, Zoom Text) in a more hands-on fashion.  An EC staff member will be available at the drop-ins to provide a general introduction to the programs and to assist any users who wish to give them a try.

The following dates are scheduled:

Feb. 9, 4:00-5:00, lab #1
Feb. 16, 3:30-4:30, lab #6
Apr. 6, 3:30-4:30, lab #6

Participants are asked to bring headphones or a headset to the session. Registration is not required.
