 What is this?

Type of equipment you can loan:

• Computer equipment: laptops, projectors
• Multimedia equipment and support: audio recorders, camcorders, speakers, microphones, etc.
• Research equipment: transcribers, tape recorders, etc.
• Instructional Technology: Smart Board, Apple Cart, Adaptive Technology Cart, etc.

 Who do we support?

• OISE faculty, staff and students for purposes associated with OISE - internal
• Non-OISE affiliates - external
• Please note: Teaching Station Jrs and projectors are installed in OSM-bookable classrooms with a capacity of 36 to 100. OISE Rooms that have both installed are as follows: 5160, 5230, 5240, 5250, 5260, 5280, 8170, 8180, 8200, 8201. If you using one of these rooms, it may not be necessary to book additional equipment.

 How can I request it?

1. Complete the online request forms: Internal Booking or External Booking
2. After submitting the form, a media services technician will contact you to confirm your request if the equipment you are booking is available

Note:

• Reservations in person will not be accepted
• An online booking form must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance in order to reserve circulating media equipment
• Some items cannot be booked in advance, and are available on a first-come first-served basis
   

 What is the cost?

• Internal Booking (OISE staff, faculty & students for purposes associated with OISE) - no fee
• External booking (for purposes not related to OISE) - cost varies, please e-mail the Client Care Portal for the most current rates.

 When is it available?

Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note:

There is no guarantee that any media equipment will be available on the date you request; an earlier booking, however, will better your chances of the equipment being available.

Contact the Client Care Portal (CCP)
