Adaptive Technology Cart
What is this?
As part of the Adaptive Technology Curriculum Project, instructors and students have access to a mobile workstation for demonstration purposes. This is known as the "Adaptive Technology Cart" and is available on a flexible basis for individual use, group activities or classroom demonstrations. It may be used on a drop in basis at any time.
The Adaptive Technology Cart is located in the Computer Labs on the 3rd floor at OISE.
Who do we support?
OISE faculty, staff and students, individually, in groups or in classrooms.
How do I request it?
If you would like to confirm or book to use the Adaptive Technology Mobile Cart for a specific time, arrangements should be made through the Education Commons using the EC Online Booking form. Select "Adaptive Technology Cart" from the drop down list in the form.
What is the cost?
There is no cost.
When is it available?
The Adaptive Technology Cart may be used anywhere in the OISE building at 252 Bloor Street W. The cart is available on a flexible basis for individual use, group activities or classroom demonstrations. It may be used on a drop-in basis in the lab at any time.
How do I get support?
The EC Help Desk staff will ensure that the AT cart and associated software is functioning, but are not able to provide expert help on use of the software. Please consult program leads for information on peer support for use of the technology. Demonstrations, coaching and support will be given to instructors on a best effort basis by EC staff and the project team. You can alson refer to the Adaptive Technology Curriculum Project website.
