LISTSERV is a system for sending information to large groups of people. UTORlist can be used to distribute:

Who do we support?
The UofT Information Commons and the Computing and Network Services Group are offering the Listserv/UTORlist service in support of the academic, administrative and instructional goals at the University of Toronto.
How do I request this?
OISE supported UTOR Listserv information
The Education Commons can help you set up and maintain your listserv e-mail list - contact the OISE Client Care Portal. If you currently have an OISE MailMan Listserv, please contact the OISE Client Care Portal to have it converted to a UTORlist Listserv.
When requesting an Education Commons Supported List, please provide the following information:

What is the purpose of the list?

A one-line description of the list
-
Who will be responsible for maintaining the list? (list owner)

Who gets to post to the list? (owner/editors only, or anyone subscribed to the list)
-
Do you want to archive all your posts? (can be viewed later by list members)
What is the cost?
There is no cost.
