Your technology needs in 2012...

UTORmail is gone June 1st 2012, upgrade to UTmail+

If you have an old UTORmail account, you should upgrade.  June 1, 2012 is the deadline.

Most 2011-2012 students will already be on the new UTMail+ system, and no further action is required.

University of Toronto students with old UTORmail accounts are eligible to enrol for the new UTmail+ service.  With UTmail+, you get 10 GB of email storage, 25 GB of file storage, Microsoft® Office Web Applications for document sharing, instant messaging with your peers and more!.

More information on UTmail+

What should you know about UTmail+?

  • You will be given a new email address in the form of firstname.lastname@mail.utoronto.ca.
  • All mail delivered to your UTORmail account will be rerouted to the new address.
    • You will not lose your existing @utoronto.ca email address
  • You will log in to your account at mail.utoronto.ca.

Learn more and upgrade your account today!

Once you activate UTmail+:

  • Mail sent to your UTORmail account (firstname.lastname@utoronto.ca) will be rerouted to UTmail+.
  • Once you complete the process no new mail will be delivered to your UTORmail account.
  • UTmail+ Forwarding option is available.  If your UTORmail account is currently forwarded to another email address, the forwarding will be removed, but you can re-instate it in UTmail+ by using the options menu in UTmail+.
  • Migrating mail from UTORmail to UTmail+ can be done with a built-in tool called Connected Accounts. If you wish to save any messages from UTORmail, we strongly advise you to go through this process.
