TCard

Get your TCard starting on these dates...
Summer Session students: April , 2013
Fall Session students: June , 2013

The TCard, the U of T student card, is our official university identification and is issued to all U of T students. You will need a TCard to get access to resources like the campus libraries, the Athletic Centre and your UTORid account. In addition, if you are looking for off-campus housing, have your TCard ready before you visit Student Housing.

To get your TCard, go to the TCard Office located in Room 2054A on the second floor of Robarts Library (corner of St. George St. and Harbord St.).  Go early to avoid the long September line-ups. For TCard office hours and required identification documentation, visit the TCard Office.

UTORid

Get Your UTORid account after you have your TCard.

To setup your UTORid account browse to the UTORid main site and have your TCard available. New students will "activate" their account using the secret activation key they received with their TCard.  As part of the UTORid set-up process, you will be asked to set up a UTmail+ address (firstname.lastname@mail.utoronto.ca).

The University of Toronto has many technology-related services that are supported centrally and require a UTORid account. A UTORid account gives you access to services such as the wireless network, computer access within UofT libraries and OISE computer labs. You will need a UTORid to access the UofT Blackboard student portal, your UTmail+ email account and myOISE.

Your UTORid will also be required for access to the Libraries' licensed digital resources from off-campus through my.access.

The UofT Policy on Official Correspondence with Students mandates that all students have a university-issued e-mail address that is recorded in ROSI. Activating your UTmail+ is essential.

If you need assistance, come and see us at the Education Commons Help Desk (3rd floor, 3-320, OISE).

OISE students also have access to 24-hour Internet and computer access in the Education Commons Labs.
