
Public Speaking
Glen Jones is frequently asked to make keynote addresses at international, national or local conferences or groups, or to present research papers at scholarly meetings. One of the objectives of the Ontario Research Chair program is to promote research-informed public discussions of key policy issues, and Glen is regularly asked to speak on such topics as:
• The Role of Higher Education in Our Rapidly Changing Context
• Key Challenges for Higher Education Policy in Canada and the World
• Governing Higher Education
• The Changing Nature of Academic Work
• The Rewards and Challenges of Academic Administration
Glen has given invited speeches or presentations at the request a wide range of groups or agencies throughout the word, including conferences in Austria, Canada, China, Colombia, Finland, Germany, Israel, Japan, Lithuania, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
