Audio-Visual Equipment Bookings

All Audio-Visual and Resource equipment (projectors, tape recorders, etc.) should be ordered from the EdCommons Help desk at (416) 923-6641 ext. 4705 or 2325 on the 3rd floor or by filling out a booking form. A valid OISE library card is required; there is no charge for equipment issued for course work or research purposes.

Room Bookings

Faculty Sponsored:

Must be sponsored by a HSSSJE Professor. Please complete this form and email to Cindy Sinclair. Allow 5-10 working days for processing.

Student Sponsored:

For HSSSJE Student-sponsored events, contact Student Caucus Co-Chairs for information, complete The Office of Space Management Form and correspond directly with the Space Management Office for approval.

Department Sponsored:

For all events in the HSSSJE department, reserve your own space for the use of the HSSSJE Seminar Room, Rm. 12-274, by entering your name, event name and e-mail/telephone number in the HSSSJE Room Booking Binder. This binder is available on the desk in front of the Faculty Mailbox in the HSSSJE Lounge. This space is on a first-come, first-served basis, but priority is given to departmental faculty/administrative events.

To give all HSSSJE members equal access to this space, and while we encourage everyone to use this space, please do not reserve the HSSSJE Seminar Room for continuous meetings for a term or year at a time. Up to 3 weeks ahead is acceptable time for continuous meeting. Public open spaces are also available for smaller informal events as follows:

Parking: Cars and Bicycles

Limited parking facilities are available. Entry to OISE's parking area is on Prince Arthur Avenue. Rates for the various parking options are available from the Parking Attendant at the entrance, or contact the University of Toronto Parking Office at (416) 978-2336 or (416) 978-6625. A limited number of lockers are available; see the Parking Attendant.

Security staff can escort you to your car if requested; this service is provided from 7:00 am to 12:00am, Monday to Friday. Please call (416) 978-SAFE (7233) to arrange for patrollers to come to your location during service hours.

Bicycle racks are located in the first parking level (Concourse) of the parking garage adjacent to the Attendant's booth. Bicycles are not permitted in the building.
