Dr. William Blatz Children's Library

Welcome to the Jackman ICS Library! All of the students spend at least a half an hour per week at the library. It is a special place with a calming atmosphere. The mural on the ceiling, the comfortable window seat, and the colourful displays help to make it an appealing space for everyone.  There are many different types of books at our library: poetry, novels, biographies, legends, picture books, and information books for all levels of reading and understanding. With our collection, we aim to reflect the diversity of our world, showcase exemplary works by Canadian authors and illustrators, include current selections, and support the development of all literacy skills for a wide variety of readers.
