Elementary Program Options, 2013-2014
 

Essential information for incoming teacher candidates

Welcome! We are pleased that you have chosen to take your teacher education program at our faculty, and look forward to working with you and having you as an active member of the OISE community.

What is an Elementary Program Option?

• Candidates in the Elementary Program are organized in cohort groupings which are called ‘options’. Each option is a community of approximately 70 students who work and learn together with a dedicated team of instructors for the majority of their program.
• Each option has two coordinators and works with a grouping of 12 – 20 partner schools.

• collect information so that you make informed cohort selections 
• hear first-hand information about the Elementary Program
• meet other incoming and current teacher candidates
• meet the option coordinators and instructors
