Current Secondary Cohorts 2012-2013 

Teacher candidates in the Secondary Program are organized into cohorts for their foundations courses: Teacher Education Seminar, Psychological Foundations of Education, and School and Society (referred to as Secondary Program Cohorts (SPs). SPs normally have a coordinator(s) and work with partnering schools and/or school departments. In most cases, teacher candidates move outside of their SP for their Curriculum and Instruction and Related Studies courses.

Cohort groupings for 2012-13 include:

• SP2: Halton/Dufferin-Peel
• SP3: Global Citizenship and Sustainable Development
• SP5: Peel and Dufferin-Peel Partnerships (Clarkson S.S.)
• SP6: Multilingual and Multicultural Classrooms
• SP7: Emily Carr Secondary School/York Region
• SP8: The Arts
• SP9: Social Justice in Catholic Education
• SP10: Regional Cohorts
