Research Overview

Dr. Lopez's research is focussed on Activist Teacher Leadership, Culturally Responsive and Relevant Curriculum & Pedagogy, Critical and Equity Pedagogy, Critical Multiculturalism, Social Justice Education, Leadership for Social Justice and Equity, Mentoring for Diversity and Equity. Research methodologies include collaborative action research, duoethnography, critical ethnography, and narrative inquiry.
