Research Overview

Dr. Zoric's prime interests focus on environmental sustainability and social justice; school policy; social diversity; equity; teacher education; teacher activism, and democratic citizenship.

For the past twenty years, she has worked closely with student, community, and labour groups to advocate for equitable and excellent publicly funded education. This commitment motivated her to help found OISE’s elementary ‘inner city’ cohort, its annual conference on educational activism, a course for teacher candidates on activism for socio-economic and environmental justice, and a new SESE M.Ed cohort in Environmental Sustainability and Social Justice.
