Information for prospective students is available through a variety of avenues: 

Information Sessions

In order to faciliate the application process, the AECD runs information sessions in the Fall which provide a valuable opportunity for applicants to explore the department, interact with the faculty, hear about career prospects and learn more about the program's research and objectives.

AECD Program Information Sessions for Prospective Students

Date: Wednesday, September 26, 5-7:30pm - For Masters students
Date: Wednesday, October 10, 5-7:30pm – For Doctoral students
Location: Peace Lounge, Adult Education and Community Development (AECD), 7th floor OISE, 252 Bloor Street West

Visit the Department, find out more about our Adult Education and Community Development Program, and meet faculty and staff. No RSVP is needed.

 

School of Graduate Studies (SGS)

The mission of the School of Graduate Studies is to promote University-wide excellence in graduate education and research and to ensure consistency and high standards across the divisions.

SGS resources include: registration, fees, transcripts, students forms, english language and writing support, appeals, academic offences, graduation, policies and guidelines, campus life.

OISE Student Services

The mandate of Student Services is to assist and enhance the development of students as they engage in academic and professional learning at OISE.

OISE Student Services resources include: student fees, bursaries and awards, OSAP, student unions, academic and cultural support, academic writing, accessibility and disability services, counselling services, human rights and equity, student unions, financial stress, deferral of fees, conference funding, TTC discounts and more...

Bulletin

The OISE Bulletin is a reference tool for both applicants and students.

The OISE Bulletin resources include: degree requirements, graduate program summaries, collaborative degree summaries, course information, transfer credit, off campus-distance education, definition of full-time/part-time, leave of absence, grade reports, registration, fees, financial support.

Registrar's Office

The registrar's office is an important resource for prospective applicants.  Not only will you learn how to apply, but you will also learn about financial aid and awards, important dates and deadlines and course schedules.

Please consult the Registrar's office for all applicant related information regarding admission requirements, submitting applications, application status, evaluation process, notification of result and any other questions.

Centre for International Experience
