Limin Jao

Instructor

Limin Jao is an instructor in the Master of Teaching Program at OISE/UT. She teaches Curriculum and Teaching in Mathematics (CTL7002) to the Junior/Intermediate cohort. Limin has experience teaching in both elementary and secondary schools as well as non-traditional classroom settings including the Ontario Science Centre, Royal Ontario Museum and Toronto Zoo. Limin is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning researching exemplary teaching practices in mathematics classrooms. Specifically, her research will focus on Grade 9 Applied mathematics teachers and the teaching strategies these teachers use to increase student engagement.
