Master of Teaching, CTL, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto
International Students

International students can apply to the program and will graduate with a Master of Teaching Degree. Upon completion, they will be recommended to the Ontario College of Teachers to receive a Certificate of Qualification for Teaching in Ontario.
Applying as an International Applicant may present unique challenges; information for International Applicants may help to overcome those challenges. The University of Toronto, School of Graduate Studies assessment tool allows International Applicants to determine equivalency of their academic credentials.

Studying at OISE/UT
International students studying at OISE/UT are required to purchase a University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) for the duration of their academic study. Please note that UHIP does not cover all the costs in an Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). Please contact the UHIP office for more information on the coverage of the plan and fees.
As an International Student, available funding is scarce. International students will not be able to apply for OSAP but can apply for bursaries and emergency funding. Please contact the Student Services on the 5th floor of the OISE/UT building.
