The Master of Teaching program is one of the premier teacher education programs at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. This program combines a Master of Teaching degree with elementary or secondary teacher certification. Our program is suited for those who want to pursue a career in teaching combined with graduate study that may lead to a doctoral program. Students will choose one of three program specializations: Primary/Junior, Junior/Intermediate or Intermediate/Senior.
Through the MT Prospective Students pages, you can learn more About the program (Program Description, Program Vision, Program Specializations, Rhythm of the School Year and Frequently Asked Questions), opportunities for International Students, Program Admission (Admission Requirements, Fees, Financial Aid), Application Process (How to Apply and Schools of Graduate Studies) and University Services.
