Associate Deans' Portfolios

OISE's associate deans' portfolios have changed following the conclusion of a year-long consultation and strategic planning process that involved more than 500 community members and stakeholder groups from OISE.

Associate Dean, Research is responsible for promoting and supporting excellence and innovation in research and knowledge mobilization, opening new opportunities for, and expanding the reach of, OISE’s research and its uptake in policy and practice globally.

Associate Dean, Programs is responsible for maximizing the educational impact of OISE’s academic programs. Given that increasing the alignment between graduate and undergraduate programs is a major strategic priority for this Associate Dean, two Academic Directors, one for Initial Teacher Education and one for Graduate Education, are appointed and report to this associate dean.

Associate Dean, Innovations and Opportunities is responsible for the development and implementation of new strategic directions and initiatives at the local, national and international levels including online learning, institutional research and evaluation, and new revenue generation initiatives.
