OISE community celebrates research excellence

March 31, 2011

By Jennifer Sipos-Smith

Dean Julia O’Sullivan and Normand Labrie, Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Studies welcomed close to 500 people to an annual celebration of OISE research in the library on Tuesday.

The event celebrated the work of eight faculty members and eight students through poster profiles that will be used throughout the year to promote OISE research excellence.

Faculty and staff gathered with students and special guests from the Ministry of Education to enjoy displays from OISE’s five departments, 19 research centres and special programs. Newly admitted students also attended to connect with faculty members and inspire plans for innovations to their own research.
