We are making history!
Over the past six months, the OISE Alumni Association has made
remarkable strides in building the organization and raising its profile. We are very happy to inform you that the Association now has a home on the 12th floor (12-136) where we can host meetings and greet fellow alumni.
During our year-end business social, we hosted our Dean, Professor Julia O’Sullivan on December 14, 2011. Since the beginning of 2012, the members of OISE alumni executive have been busy planning two important projects for your participation:

• the 2012 Spring Reunion Brunch/Alumni Leader’s Series, and
• the 30th Anniversary of the OISE Alumni Association.
The Spring Reunion Brunch will be held on Saturday, June 2012. It will feature one of our alumnae, Dr. Janette Pelletier. This year, the Alumni Leaders’ Series will focus on “the family.”
With your participation, we are going to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of our Association during a two-day programme with the overarching theme of “Education as Compassion.” The Friday Gala reception and dinner on October 19, 2012 will feature Ken Dryden as our keynote speaker. The Saturday, October 20, 2012 programme will focus on “Conversations on Education,” and highlight OISE faculty and a prominent keynote speaker. Both of these events are unique opportunities for us to reconnect, network, reminisce and strengthen our bond with OISE.

The OISE Alumni Association (FEUT, OISE, ICS and OCE) is hoping to reconnect with its previous executive members. The Biennial General Meeting of the OISE Alumni Association will be held on Wednesday, June 27 2012 at OISE.
Mission: To promote the former students of the Institute within the provincial, national and global contexts by strengthening bonds among alumni, OISE and the university through our programs and services.
