Grad Student Research Conference: More reviewers needed!
Registration for the Dean's Graduate Research Conference is now under way, but organizers say they need more reviewers to help adjudicate an unprecedented number of submissions. They are also advising people to register early for what is shaping up to be a record-breaking attendance. Apply online to become a reviewer by February 4. B.E.S.T network to support Black teacher education students
Black Educators Standing Together (B.E.S.T.), a new network developed by OISE grad students to provide academic, social and cultural supports to OISE's Black teacher education students, will mark its startup at an inaugural celebration on February 4, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the OISE Library (ground floor). B.E.S.T. will also provide mentorship opportunities with Black teachers in the community.

Calling all artists! OISE Art Exhibition invites submissions
Community arts organizers are busy preparing for the annual exhibition, Creative Transformations: Living and Learning Through Art, which will be on display from April 6-10. Artists are invited to submit no more than three works, along with a brief artist's statement for each, for consideration by March 7. Teacher Education co-curricular conference goes beyond classroom
Teacher Education students packed the Professional Preparation Conference December 10-12, acquiring new tools and learning new skills to excel as teachers, participating in workshops on everything from resume writing and research skills to accessing professional support networks. The conference is a co-curricular program organized annually by OISE Student Services. Scan through our Photo Gallery to experience the conference from our students' perspective.
