Summer GA Online System Instructions

Step 5: Students Apply to Jobs
Deadline: April 24, 2013

Only students who are eligible to apply for GA positions will have access to the system using their UTORid.  Once an eligible student logs in, their GA homepage will appear.  Students will initially see the jobs that are offered from their home department.  However, they may also view all other jobs in other departments.

Students will upload their resume and provide a rationale (i.e., cover page) for positions in which they are interested.  They will also rank the positions in order of preference.

Please note:  
A student holding a full GA you will not be able to apply for a job that has been listed for only one term.  However, students holding a half GA may apply for any job that has been posted.  Therefore, while reviewing the applications, faculty members should note each student’s eligibility when making their decisions.  If you choose a half GA applicant for a full GA position, you will not be able to replace the second half of the position with another student.
