Step 7: Matching Phase 1: One-to-one Matches
Deadline: April 29, 2013 AM

The system uses an algorithm to automatically find one-to-one faculty/applicant matches. In this phase, your job is matched with your first-choice applicant who has chosen your position as their first choice.  Both faculty and students should check their GA homepages on April 30 to ascertain whether they were successfully matched with their first choice.

To determine if you have been matched in this phase, click on the applicant icon (looks like two people) under Actions.  If you have been successfully matched in this phase, you will see “Offered” next to the applicant that was placed in their position.
