How to Increase Income Above the Package

Due to the removal of previous funding rules, students have numerous methods of increasing their income outside of the Graduate Funding Package.

Students may now apply for and accept small scholarships (valued at less than 40% of the domestic graduate funding level).

Similarly, they may earn additional income from University employment through Research Assistantships, Teaching Assistantships outside of OISE, etc. The only restriction to employment would be OISE TEPA/TAs, Sole Responsibility positions, Research Fellowships in the RF/GA Package, and Major Research Assistantships. These, if accepted by the student, would be included as part of their package.
