Consulting and Services

Individual Consultation Service
A librarian will come to a faculty member's office on request and provide individual advice. For in-depth research questions and information on electronic resources, including citation management software, please contact Pat Serafini.  For consultations regarding citation analysis for tenure and promotion, contact Marian Press.
For more information about consulting services offered by the Education Commons, see Research Services.

Faculty-Requested Online Research Workshops
These two-hour class sessions are held each term at the request of faculty and are structured around topics of importance to the class. Contact Marian Press.

For more information about workshops offered by the Education Commons at OISE, or by other organizations, see Workshops & Events.

Organize Your Citations Online (RefWorks)
RefWorks is a free (to members of the University of Toronto community), web-based citation manager that allows you to collect and organize citations as you research. RefWorks manages these bibliographic references and creates footnotes and bibliographies automatically in combination with Microsoft Word. See Learn RefWorks for User Aides and Webinars.

Identify key resources in education
This resource guide identifies the key resources in education that are online and available to members of the University of Toronto community.
