 CONVOCATION / GRADUATION

The Office of Convocation website is your source for graduation information including deadlines, ordering gowns and hoods and obtaining tickets.

Concurrent students do not need to request B.Ed. graduation on ROSI; OISE will add the B.Ed. invitation to graduate status to those who have a graduation status in their other degree and who are expected to complete their B.Ed. program requirements.

OISE B.Ed. Convocation/Graduation is usually held in the 3rd week of June.  The deadline to ensure that your name is correct on your diploma is mid March.
Your name as it appears in the University’s Respository of Student Information (ROSI) is the name that will appear on your diploma. To view your name on ROSI, visit the ROSI web-site  and select the “GRADUATION” option.

Remember that you are considered a graduate of a program once the degree has been conferred, which occurs at the convocation ceremony.  Even if you are not present at the ceremony, the degree is still conferred on that date.

Students completing the Univeristy of Toronto Concurrent Teacher Education program will receive two degrees, granted at two different ceremonies. The B.Ed degree can only be granted after the undergrad degree has been conferred.
