Symposium on Research in Education: Mobilizing Research Knowledge in Education

The IALEI is a leading think-tank on international education issues comprised of ten members from educational institutions around the world. The IALEI hosts annual conferences on key education issues, which have previously included: Teacher Education (2008), Education for Sustainable Development (2009), and Multicultural Education (2010).
We are pleased to announce that this year's conference will focus on Mobilizing Research Knowledge in Education. Canada Research Chair Professor Ben Levin from OISE is the academic coordinator and the keynote speaker will be Sandra Nutley, a leading expert on knowledge mobilization from the University Edinburgh. Other attendees will include education leaders from Ontario and Canada as well as senior officials from the World Bank and OECD. Researchers from each of the ten member education institutions will present papers on this year's theme, with time included for interaction and discussion between conference participants.
