KM ORGANIZATIONS
Education Evidence Portal (eep)
EEP is a consortium of groups who are interested in evidence from different sources and how this evidence can be made more accessible online. EEP is also involved in developing common standards across the key providers of educational research for presenting their information.
Research Unit for Research Utilization (RURU)
RURU's role is to conduct research on research use and provide a research resource for all those interested in using research to improve public policy and services. In addition to its research activities, RURU also provides training in areas relating to the use of research in policy and practice.
Centre for the Use of Research and Evidence in Education (CUREE)
CUREE works at the leading edge of research and evidence-informed educational policy and practice. Our mission centres on promoting the use of evidence by building bridges between academic research and professional practice. We support practice-driven action research, develop tools for Continuing Professional Development (CPD), for organisational leadership and for teaching and learning. We believe in modelling good practice in everything we do and our work in consultancy, advice, development and training in the use of research and evidence is consistently informed by the principles underpinning effective coaching and mentoring in education. We work in collaboration with a range of individuals and organisations.
Canadian Health Services Research Foundation
The Canadian Health Services Research Foundation promotes and funds management and policy research in health services and nursing to increase the quality, relevance and usefulness of this research for health-system policy makers and managers. In addition, the Foundation works with these health-system decision makers to support and enhance their use of research evidence when addressing health management and policy challenges. Any Foundation project, process or activity always involves both researchers, and managers, policy makers from academia and Canada's health system.
Campbell Collaboration
“The Campbell Collaboration (C2) is an independent, international, non-profit organization that strives to provide decision-makers with evidence-based information to empower them to make well-informed decisions about the effects of interventions in the social, behavioral and educational arenas. C2's vision is to bring about positive social change, and to improve the quality of public and private services across the world, by preparing, maintaining and disseminating systematic reviews of existing social science evidence.”
Evidence For Policy and Practice Information and Coordinating Group (EPPI-Centre)
The Evidence for Policy and Practice Information and Co-ordinating Center (EPPI-Centre) is part of the Social Science Research Unit at the Institute of Education, University of London. This centre is dedicated to making reliable research findings accessible to people who need them, whether they are making policy, practice or personal decisions.

Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC)
The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) is an independent organization that funds research and training in social and economic issues throughout the UK. The ESRC focuses on six research areas: economic affairs, education and human development, environment and planning, government and law, industry and employment, and social affairs. The website is tailored to five types of users: academic, public sector, third sector, press & media, and business. The main headings vary according to user. For the academic user, the site summarizes current ESRC research projects, key research challenges and outlines various funding opportunities. There is also a section of the site for the academic user, devoted to introducing knowledge transfer and outlining opportunities for knowledge transfer.
Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)
