INITIAL TEACHER EDUCATION

Faculty members in the Sociology in Education Program participate in the Initial Teacher Education program through course delivery, program support and guest lecturing. A number of SESE instructors teach sections of School and Society, a required course in the ITE program, while others contribute to program development and coordination. SESE faculty involved in the research area of Learning and Work take a major role in the Secondary Program 4 (Education and Work).
