Conferences & Seminars
Room Booking:
1) For events sponsored by a SESE Professor, please complete this form and email to Cindy Sinclair at c.sinclair@utoronto.ca. Allow 5-10 working days for processing.
2) For SESE Student-sponsored events, contact Student Caucus Co-Chairs for information, complete Space Management Form and correspond directly with the Space Management Office for approval.
3) For all events in the SESE department, reserve your own space for the use of the SESE Seminar Room, Rm. 12-274, by entering your name, event name and e-mail/telephone number in the SESE Room Booking Binder. This binder is available on the desk in front of the Faculty Mailbox in the SESE Lounge. This space is on a first-come, first-served basis, but priority is given to departmental faculty/administrative events.
To give all SESE members equal access to this space, and while we encourage everyone to use this space, please do not reserve the SESE Seminar Room for continuous meetings for a term or year at a time. Up to 3 weeks ahead is acceptable time for continuous meeting.
4) Public open spaces are also available for smaller informal events as follows.
No bookings required. Use if available.
- SESE Lounge by the main entrance accommodates 8-10 people, but is noise sensitive during workday hours
- Three Northend open spaces can accommodate 6-8 people and is noise sensitive during workday hours.
Equipment Booking:
Students are responsible for booking their own AV/Electronic equipment through OISE Education Commons. Click on this link to book Equipment.
