umar keoni's current research follows the trajectory of self-study of teacher education practices, action research and improvement of teaching through affective learning and within the context of integrating / aligning Indigenous knowledges. They are a member of the Ontario College of Teachers and an associate member of the Ontario Principals Council. umar keoni also maintains Aboriginal connections with First Nations Technical Institute (FNTI), Six Nations Polytechnic, and Kenjgewin Teg Educational Institute (KTEI).
