Collaborative Programs

Collaborative Programs develop when several University of Toronto graduate units partner together to offer students a wider-ranging foundation from which to explore unique and intersecting interdisciplinary paths or to allow for special development in a particular subject. These programs complement a student’s degree studies. After completing the requirements for the collaborative program, a notation is added to the student’s transcript.

Students must be admitted to and enrolled in one of the collaborating graduate programs and must meet all the requirements for that program, as well as the degree requirements in the home department.

The process for application to these different collaborative programs varies so it is essential that an applicant check the admission requirements given by the collaborative programs in the links below. Applicants to a HSSSJE degree who wish to be considered also for a collaborative program must also indicate on the OISE online application an interest in the collaborative program.
